The opportunity where you will make an impact:

  • You will be a key team member in the Nordics region who will partner with commercial & marketing teams to drive profitable financial growth for the Nordics region.
  • Taking ownership of income statements for the Nordic region (Brands: Nutramino and ON) to ensure clarity on financial performance and ability to clearly explain movements from forecast, budget & PY comparatives.
  • Working closely with commercial teams you will identify business development opportunities and take the lead in building relevant financial models to support business growth proposals.
  • Own and co-ordinate  sales forecasting for GPN brands and accounts in coordination with financial control, FP&A, sales and marketing teams.
  • Implement relevant analysis and KPI reporting to support commercial & marketing teams in delivering the Regions strategic targets, while ensuring we keep a close eye on margins and deliver profitable growth.
  • Take ownership for the oversight and control of all price lists for the Nordic business with a key focus on accuracy & standardisation of pricing approach
  • Ensure that adequate pricing/rebate controls are in place with a focus on maintaining a robust overall control framework around any pricing changes
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance for Continental Europe on the on-going development of the FP&A function within Nordics and its support of the commercial operations.
  • Support & Liaise with the central FP&A team in delivering Revenue & Margin estimates by country, during month end, and budgeting & forecasting cycles in line with group deadlines.
  • Be the go to finance person for Nordics – managing E-boks & other ad hoc daily accounting tasks

 

What you will bring to GPN:

  • Strong business partnering skills/experience with ability to influence commercial and marketing teams to drive profitable growth in Nordics region.
  • Continually develop the financial modelling and analysis of our brands performance with key focus on;
    • Accurate, timely financial information that users understand.
    • Insights – highlight the key focus areas that drive decision making.
    • Simple easy to produce reports/dashboards – leveraging our systems and reducing manual inputs.
  • As a finance business partner you will be an integral part of team in identifying and assessing business opportunities and risks.
  • Managing projects which require cross-functional and group participation in project teams

 

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Degree educated or equivalent as well as being a Qualified Accountant – ACA
  • Proven 2 – 4 years’ experience in an FP&A/commercial finance role and is someone who wants to join a collaborative and fun team focused on delivering region strategy and continuing to grow the business.
  • In depth knowledge of accounting and financial principles as well as technical accounting skills
  • Experience of/or exposure to working directly within international markets within a CPG environment
  • Experience in working and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines, in the context of high client expectations and tight time frames
  • A self-starter who has the ability to work well within a team and across geographical boundaries.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, good judgement making and logical decision maker
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management
  • SAP experience an advantage
