Job Purpose:  

To support the growth of the Danish business through direct engagement with our key accounts in primarily Convenience ① to secure and to develop our existing partnership with them ② to identify and unlock new distribution opportunities / channels ③ to support the Account Managers in their sales approach

 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Achievement of Sales, Profit & Distribution targets against agreed KPI’s
  • Develop strong Customer relationships within Denmark
  • Identify and unlock new distribution opportunities / channels
  • Maximise Brand 4 P’s in trade
  • Provide current accounts with ongoing support and identify additional opportunities
  • Identify top activities and activate with key Customers linked to the Nutramino objectives
  • Sell in NPDs and deliver against targeted distribution levels
  • Yearly negotiations with customers
  • Presentation of plans, activities etc. at monthly sales meetings
  • Provide on-going feedback to the CM & Central Team to help evolve strategy Planning
  • Work with appropriate internal teams (sales operation manager, marketing & trade marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure execution of agreed plans.
  • Be an on-going coacher supporting the field sales team and make the bridge to them regarding the monthly Nutramino targets for Denmark given by the CM

    Skills, Know How and experience

  • Minimum 3 years Key Account Management background – preferably from a retail/convenience environment working with FMCG/consumer goods
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player
  • Strategy planning and delivery
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver strong presentations
  • Attention to detail and customer care focus
  • Passion for Sport with previous experience of Sports Nutrition being an advantage
  • Problem solving and initiative
  • Flexible around working hours due to nature of role & need to attend some activities at evenings and weekends
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Fluent in English – verbal and written
