Brand Manager, Isopure & ABB Activation

Essential Functions:

  • Own the marketing activation strategy, planning, execution, analysis and budget (traditional, digital,  social, search) for the Isopure®, Nature’s Best™ and ABB brands to fuel brand growth
    • Support key brand priorities/objectives and define the right investment levels to drive growth
    • Partner with external agencies to manage digital display/video strategy, planning and spend
    • Partner with external agencies to manage traditional marketing activities (print, events, POS, samples, SWAG, ect.) strategy, planning and spend
    • Manage key online customer advertising and search strategy, communications and budget with agency and sales team
    • Manage the brands marketing budget and accrual process with finance/accounting
    • Develop business driving KPI measurements and regularly report against stated goals (owned, paid, earned)
    • Analyze and synthesize data, generate insights and provide recommendations to optimize future campaigns to increase effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Manage brand social media platforms with agency
    • Own the social calendar and build content with media planning/buying agency
    • Align with brand leadership on key initiatives, content, budget and timing
    • Liaise with in-house creative/copywriters and external agency to create and leverage content for key brand campaigns/initiatives, NPD, seasonal themes to drive consumer engagement
    • Link customer promotion, event/sponsorship and athlete initiatives to social media and connected platforms 
    • Manage the influencer program with agency partners
    • Uncover opportunities and out-of-box ideas to increase earned and shared reach
  • Own the creative/layout and content on the branded websites to drive consumer engagement and relevance
    • Collaborate with various content creators and copywriters to publish authentic and engaging communications and optimized product pages
    • Partner with D2C sales to define optimal offer communications that increase conversion rates
    • Optimize organic SEO/SEM
  • Own the branded email marketing strategy and communications (newsfeeds, blogs, etc.)  
  • Lead the consumer experiential event strategy & execution with the activation team and agency to drive best-in-class consumer engagement and successfully accomplish brand objectives
  • Attendance at grass roots Marketing events and trade shows to act as a brand ambassador and disseminate product information
  • Partner with the sales team to devise and support the execution of key customer plans/ promos
  • Perform creative request brief writing, advertising copy and technical writing for all forms of media
  • Work with creative editors and copy writers to ensure an authentic, consistent and accurate brand ‘voice’
  • Closely monitor, track and report on market, consumer, category and competitive trends and marketing activity (i.e. social media listening and tactics, advertising creative/copy) with the ability to assess key marketing opportunities and threats
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners: sales, customer marketing, consumer insights & analytics, finance, operations, R&D, legal, regulatory, creative and external agencies
  • Develop and provide critical proactive input on departmental direction, project budgets, action items, deadlines for deliverables, product positioning in the market place and other marketing related matters
  • Manage existing key external agency partnerships and explore new beneficial partnerships
  • Stay abreast the latest traditional and digital marketing tactics to share-out with the broader team
  • Support the Brand Lead with step-out projects, as assigned


  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy and planning
  • Masters or MBA preferred in marketing
  • Other CPG/retail/consumer focused industries preferred (client or agency)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with creative to develop breakthrough marketing content
  • Strong record of managing brand, social strategy and agency relationships
  • Experience in product information creation and display
  • Experience in managing paid search and budgeting for optimized spend
  • KPI setting and measurement experience
  • Experience in standard setting and influencing cross-functionally
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial mind-set, highly motivated and ambitious
  • Strong work ethic (willingness to roll up sleeves), multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Passion for health, fitness and sports nutrition industry
