Brand Manager - Isopure

The Brand Manager, Isopure is responsible for leading the Isopure drink portfolio and brand equity storytelling development to deliver against brand strategies and objectives that will fuel brand growth.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads and manages the Isopure drink product portfolio and strategy, proactively identifying key levers to positively impact the P&L to achieve consumption, revenue, volume, and margin targets
  • Manages drink portfolio renovation and innovation projects through the stage gate commercialization process that includes the following stages: scoping the idea, designing the concept, building the business case, product development with a full cross-functional team, product launch and post launch learnings
  • Lead the development of all brand communications, storytelling campaigns, briefs and marketing asset production, while maintaining the brand positioning, to deliver brand growth objectives
  • Partners with Innovation and R&D teams to develop long-term innovation roadmap and pipeline for the drink portfolio; identify portfolio gaps and execute white space opportunities to achieve innovation target
  • Partners with the Insights team to determine and execute research methodologies to uncover rich consumer and NPD insights to enhance the drink portfolio
  • Develops business cases as needed for platform/new product innovation including development of strategic rationale, product positioning, size of prize, and project financials
  • Collaborates with Sales and Customer Marketing teams to align, develop and execute account specific marketing activations
  • Plays key role in developing channel and product portfolio strategy with cross-functional leadership team to determine optimal routes to market across e-commerce, specialty and FDM-C channels
  • Integrates communication strategy, 360 plan, brand campaign across all touch points and elements of business
  • Proactively identifies, pursues, and prioritizes margin improvement/cost saving initiatives. Champions initiatives cross-functionally to maximize brand profit
  • Leads public relations agency to deliver incremental earned media opportunities
  • Leads recruitment of internal athlete/influencer team to deliver key brand communications for core consumer focuses
  • Ensures alignment against set KPIs and proactively drives initiatives to achieve brand metrics

Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years marketing and brand management experience in CPG/retail/consumer focused industries.
  • Product commercialization experience leading products from idea to launch (e.g. stage gate).
  • Brand positioning and brand campaign/storytelling development experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of Brand Positioning elements, development process, and guideline criteria
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in managing/influencing teams
  • Ability to comprehensively understand and convert consumer, category, competitor, and channel/customer insights into brand strategy/plans
  • Successful track record of identifying & developing new ways to grow brands via innovation in product, packaging, and communications
  • Effectively applies knowledge of business drivers to deliver financial objectives via P&L management, budget development and tracking, and demand/financial forecasting
  • Knowledgeable on key digital and e-commerce tactics, capabilities, and KPIs that fuel performance
  • Demonstrated ability for handling multiple projects, organization, attention to detail, accuracy
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial mind-set, highly motivated and ambitious
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Passion and knowledgeable about the sports nutrition, fitness, wellness industry is a plus
