Digital Account Manager


The Glanbia Digital team are looking for a budding Digital Account Manager to join a fast growing team. Reporting into the Digital Experience Lead and working as part of a team the successful candidate will act as the link between the digital team and one of the group’s business units.

This is a permanent position and is based in Waterside Offices, Citywest, Dublin.



This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Account Manager with 2 – 3 years’ experience to join our growing team of successful Digital Marketing innovators. You will be responsible for the relationship, strategy development, day-to-day management and smooth operation of projects between the Digital team and an important business unit operating in the B2B sector.

As a Digital Account Manager, you should have excellent communication and organisational skills to collaborate effectively with various teams. Ultimately, you should be able to manage key relationships and drive continuous improvement through digital channels as you will be responsible for the success of an important website for the group .  


Key elements of the role

  • You should be client focused with the ability to build trust and strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • You will develop digital strategy then work collaboratively with the business and broader digital team to implement it over the course of the year.
  • You’ll be creating, planning and optimising campaigns through various channels (PPC, Social, Display, Trade publications, Marketing Automation platforms) in order to meet defined business objectives.  
  • You should be accomplished in analytics, you will be expected to report on key digital metrics frequently and make suggestions for continuous site improvement.
  • You will work with other parts of the team to manage SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy.
  • You should have excellent presentation and communication skills; the ability to clearly and effectively communicate priorities between the team and the rest of the business.
  • You should enjoy working in a fast paced environment with multiple projects on the go at the same time



  • 3rd level qualification in Digital Marketing, Marketing, or a related field.


Skills & Experience

  • Two or more years of digital account management experience.
  • Comfortable in all aspects of client service / account management that can be relied upon to build strong relationships.
  • Clear and effective communicator orally through presentations and in writing.
  • B2B account management would be relevant and beneficial.
  • Experience working with marketing automation software such as Marketo or similar is an advantage. 



  • A positive can do attitude & comfortable operating to multiple deadlines and projects at once.
  • The energy, enthusiasm and drive to make it happen.
  • A team player who has the ability to work well with others, making it fun while getting the job done.
  • A passion for digital marketing, media, commerce and technology.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better. 


About the Digital Team

The Digital Team act as an internal agency that sits at the centre of Glanbia. Our team is made up of Digital Strategists, Digital Marketers, Social Media Experts, Designers, Videographers, UX Experts, and Web Developers, who work together in an agile and very collaborative environment.
