Tirlán’s Ireland’s award winning direct to consumer ‘Doorstep’ channel, comprises the e-commerce platform ‘mymilkman.ie,’ as well as the traditional offline channel – supplying milk and other dairy essentials to residential and commercial customers. The business has achieved major industry recognition in recent years - winning the ‘E-commerce Business of the Year’ (All Ireland Marketing Awards), and Website of the Year at the Digital Media Awards.
An opportunity has arisen for a B2B Sales Representative to join the Doorstep Channel. Reporting to the Acquisition Manager, this new field sales role will focus on signing up Commercial customers (small to medium size businesses) to the mymilkman service.
There are two roles one based in Dublin and the other in Cork. This is a field based role with weekly office based requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Profile and target small/medium business customers to sign up to the mymilkman milk delivery service - with a range of dairy and non-dairy products, including milk, butter, cheese, orange juice
- Meet with Sales Mangers & Milk Agents on a weekly basis to agree area planning
- Utilise Tirlán technology platforms (PSI) to assist with route planning and recording sales.
- Generate weekly reports on in field activity, and provide feedback and recommendations on improving performance
- Monitor competition in the marketplace eg pricing, products, new products, other players
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience within B2B sales or field sales area.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage and influence customers
- Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and the desire to succeed.
- Be a confident user of technology including Ipads (training will be provided).
- Be self motivated, and an ability to work on own initiative.
- Must have a full clean drivers licence
