Payroll Specialist

 

A vacancy has arisen for a Payroll Specialist at Glanbia Business Services. This position will report to the Payroll Manager and join a team of eight operating high-volume payroll across Ireland, UK and International, operating in a fast-paced stakeholder focused automated environment. This role has arisen from organic and M&A growth in the business and will be instrumental in the extension of payroll services and digitisation of payroll processes.

 

Location

While likely to be initially working remotely due to current restrictions, the base location of the role can be Dungarvan, Co Waterford, or Kilkenny or Dublin (Citywest), upon return to the workplace with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

Key elements of the role

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end weekly Irish payrolls and support the UK and International payrolls.
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees and internal / external business partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with Revenue in relation to Revenue Payroll Notifications, Payroll Submissions and enquiries.
  • Keep up to date with payroll related regulatory changes that may impact the business.
  • Continuously reviewing of existing payroll procedures and providing suggestion for improvement where required.
  • Assistance on Project related activities as required.
  • Other ad-hoc duties, year-end tasks.


Requirements for the role

  • 3+ years payroll experience in a similar high-volume systemized environment.
  • IPASS qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience of working cross functionally
  • Strong PC and analytical experience
  • SAP HR/Payroll experience desirable but experience of enterprise wide payroll systems is essential
