Exempt Status:                    Hourly

Essential Functions

  • Effectively perform in key roles throughout the Gooding Cheese Plant and maintain quality and throughput standards
  • Maintain records and paperwork accurately
  • Fill in for operators as needed
  • Stay current with SOPs as equipment and process change
  • Perform other duties as assigned

     

Additional Functions

  • Regular and timely attendance required

     

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate or ability to learn how to operate and how to effectively run all areas of the cheese plant
  • Desire to grow with the company
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Must be organized
  • Computer experience helpful

 

  • Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
  • Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
  • Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed
  • Ability to read and write instructions in English
  • Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals
  • Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required
