The Opportunity 

We’re excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for a Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations and elevate our team’s performance. In this critical role, you’ll champion safety, quality, and efficiency. This permanent position will report to the Production Manager and the duties and skills include but are not limited to the following; 

• Leadership and Safety:
  • Uphold Glanbia’s non-negotiable safety standards.
  • Ensure all employees maintain safety protocols.
  • Drive a zero-loss culture through Glanbia’s processes.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain plant safety programs.
  • Uphold FDA, USDA, and Idaho state standards.
  • Sustain quality systems (HACCP, SQF, SOP, GMPs).
• Efficient Operations:
  • Coordinate production schedules within budget.
  • Optimize processes for productivity.
  • Conduct audits to ensure SOP compliance.
• Collaboration and Development:
  • Coach and develop hourly employees.
  • Foster troubleshooting capabilities among operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Provide performance feedback and development.
• Logistics and Inventory:
  • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and shipping teams.
  • Perform inventory checks and sampling.
• Shift Management:
  • Schedule and coordinate shifts.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Employee Engagement:
  • Conduct employee meetings.
  • Supervise the production workforce.
  • Resolve employment-related issues.

Where and how you will work  

The opportunity will be based in Gooding, ID. This role is 5p-5a and is on a rotation where you will enjoy every other weekend off.  More details about your schedule will be available from your recruiter.
