What you will be doing

Working as a Horticulture Associate, you will work with the horticulture team across our branch network. The initial placement will be in our Monasterevin Branch in Co. Kildare. Working in a busy environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better, you’ll be required to support the team and develop yourself as follows:

  • Assisting the Manager to maintain high standards in the garden centre and branch
  • Maintaining control of all stock to ensure a fresh offering to the customer
  • Ensuring that all garden centre displays are immaculate and appealing to the customer
  • Being the customers’ champion by providing top quality, fast, efficient and friendly service at all times
  • Building trusting relationships with our customers and provide excellent service and advice
  • Developing your interest in and understanding of our product range and services

  • Expected minimum of a 2.1 primary degree in Horticulture or related course

  • Communicates clearly and can influence at all levels
