An excellent opportunity exists within Glanbia Business Services for an Early Careers Recruitment & Development Manager.  This permanent opportunity can be based in our Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24 office and will report to the Director of HR – Corporate & GBS.

Our Pure Ambition Development Programme is positioned strategically within Glanbia to provide a long term view of developing our future leaders. The programme has received numerous awards, recognising our commitment to invest in our emerging leaders and create a world-class development experience through on-the-job development, formal training, international assignments, coaching and mentoring. 

In this role, you will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to define and execute a global talent attraction and development strategy for this early career cohort. You will draw on strong commercial, talent development and relationship management expertise to work across our business units, markets and regions to ensure alignment between the programme outcomes and business growth.

 

 

Key deliverables of the role

Global Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Develop a talent attraction and development strategy for the Pure Ambition programme that meets the current and future needs of the global organisation
  • Work closely with the business unit HR teams on workforce planning needs for our markets and regions.
  • Develop and manage relationships with business sponsors to ensure the strategy is embedded in the overall business and HR people agendas
  • Act as a credible business expert for this demographic ranging from attraction, market trends and selection to ongoing development initiatives and performance assessment
  • In collaboration with in-market Glanbia colleagues, build strong relationships with external partners: schools, colleges, universities, graduate associations and other external stakeholders

 

Attraction & Recruitment Management

  • Accountable for end-to-end recruitment and pipelining activity for: student work experience, internships and graduate recruitment
  • Work with internal teams and external agencies where appropriate to design and deliver engaging and creative online and print collateral marketing the Glanbia employment proposition
  • Oversee Glanbia’s representation and participation in on-campus promotional and engagement activities, marketing events and publications
  • Lead the team on the planning and execution of the annual graduate recruitment cycle
  • Provide relevant metrics to demonstrate results of attraction campaigns, selection processes and recruitment conversion

 

Development Programme Design & Execution

  • Accountable for the overall design and delivery of the Pure Ambition Development Programme based on high quality learning, on-the-job experiences, rotations and coaching as part of the programme
  • Management of workforce planning and international rotations process with our business units.
  • Partner with business units to agree specific programme deliverables aligned to business priorities and delivered locally
  • Work closely with Group CoEs to define and embed performance management and talent management processes for the graduate programme

 

Budget & Team

  • Responsible for defining and managing programme budget. Input to business units budgets for programmes (in line with overall team budget)
  • Manage additional flexible resource requirements for the team, e.g., to address seasonal demands

  

What background and experience are we looking for?

Qualifications

  • Minimum of degree level in a relevant discipline, e.g., Business/Marketing/HR. Post-graduate or other professional qualification desirable
  • Licensed in relevant psychometric tools to support assessment and development initiatives

 

Skills & experience

  • Ideally, worked in a similar role on a high volume early careers (e.g. Graduate) programme, preferably with a global focus, and brings excellent knowledge of recruiting in the early careers market
  • Prior experience of creative recruitment marketing and campaign management, particularly in online channels to market
  • Experience in design and execution of innovative development and talent management programmes to identify and develop early future potential
  • Experience of managing and delivering projects and/or campaigns including management of governance and stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of partnering all levels in the business, constructively challenging business decisions through commercial savvy
  • Managed client/candidate and third party relationships in an Early Careers context
