<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">An opportunity has arisen for a Talent Manager to support our Group business functions. This role will report to the Head of HR – Corporate and Business Services. While likely to be initially remote working due to the current COVID-19 requirements, the base location of the role will be either our office in Kilkenny or Waterside, Dublin 24 on return to the workplace.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Our People are our greatest asset and the development of diverse leaders at all levels and career stages is a key focus for Glanbia. This role will have primary responsibility for the leadership of our award winning early career Pure Ambition Development Programme, working with internal and external stakeholders to define and execute a global talent strategy for this early career cohort. You will draw on strong commercial, talent development and relationship management expertise to work across our business units, markets and regions to ensure alignment between the programme outcomes and business growth.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">In addition, this role will support talent development planning and programme delivery for our business functions at Group.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Key deliverables of the role

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Pure Ambition Program

  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Develop a talent strategy for the Pure Ambition program that meets the current and future needs of the global organisation.
  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Work closely with business unit HR teams on workforce planning needs for our markets and regions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">In collaboration with in-market colleagues, build strong relationships with external partners: schools, colleges, universities, graduate associations and other external stakeholders.
  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Work closely with the Talent Attraction teams to ensure planning and operational execution of appropriate <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">talent attraction and selection methods and pipelining of graduate and broader student talent.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Work with internal teams and external agencies where appropriate to design and deliver engaging and creative online and print collateral marketing the Glanbia employment proposition.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Lead on the design and delivery of high quality learning, on-the-job experiences, rotations, coaching and mentoring as part of the Pure Ambition program.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Manage the workforce planning and international rotations process for early career talent with our business units.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Partner with business units to agree specific program deliverables aligned to business priorities and delivered locally.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">In addition

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Working closely with Group Centres of Excellence, identify and execute on performance management, talent and succession planning, leadership and career development and D&I programmes within Group functions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Partner with Group leaders on strategic development planning and delivery of bespoke programme design and delivery.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Support on the design of career pathways and associated learning paths for our Group functions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Provide insight on trends relating to early career talent, talent development and engagement and performance management.

 

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">What background and experience are we looking for?

<span style="font-family:"Courier New""><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Qualifications

  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Minimum of degree level in a relevant discipline, e.g., Business/Marketing/HR. Post-graduate or other professional qualification desirable.
  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Licensed in relevant psychometric tools to support assessment and development initiatives.

 

<span style="font-family:"Courier New""><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Skills and Experience

  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Ideally, you have worked in a similar role in a multi-national/global organisation on the design and execution of strategic talent programmes and have excellent knowledge of development/talent management frameworks, particularly with the early careers market.
  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Experience of managing and delivering global projects and/or campaigns including management of governance and stakeholders.
  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Demonstrable experience of partnering at all levels in the business, constructively challenging business decisions through commercial savvy.
  • <span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Managing multiple stakeholder interests and third party relationships in a talent development context.
