We have an exciting opportunity for a Reward Manager to join our Team.  This is a 23 months fixed term contract & can be based in Kilkenny or Dublin 24 but will start in a remote capacity.  The Ireland Reward Manager will work to build a specialist reward function, driving the performance and reward agenda specifically across the Republic of Ireland.  As Ireland Reward Manager you will be responsible for Reward activity as it relates to all Glanbia businesses across the Republic of Ireland.



Key elements of the role

  • Supports the business in making total reward decisions relating to internal and new hire appointments.  Conducts internal and external analysis to inform reward decision making
  • Is the Reward partner for all Glanbia businesses across the Republic of Ireland, working closely with the Group Head of Reward and other Reward partners to ensure alignment with global principles & processes
  • Develops a deep understanding of internal benefit offerings, including pension, risk & health benefits, across all Ireland businesses and ensures one Ireland offering in consideration of external market and internal requirements.
  • Integrates standardised ways of working into business as usual reward activity through process and system definition.  Constantly looking for opportunities to improve efficient process delivery
  • Participates in global and regional reward projects giving input as a subject matter expert and business representative as well as leading project implementation and integration into Republic of Ireland business e.g. job evaluation
  • Facilitates the annual cycle process for pay reviews and variable pay for Ireland businesses in line with Group guidance. Coaching HR and Line Management on how to best leverage reward solutions 
  • Owns the relationship between Glanbia and its health and wellbeing provider in Ireland, ensuring our employees have access to market competitive plans and an integrated wellbeing offer. Leads and conducts reviews of the market and provider as necessary to ensure the best offering is available to the business



Candidate requirements for the role

  • Degree qualified (finance / data analytics discipline desirable but not essential)
  • 7-8 years of professional experience, of which 3-5 years relates directly to Reward
  • Advanced MS Excel & experienced in the use of SAP HR or a similar ERP system i.e. Oracle
  • Experience in working in a matrix organisation with proven experience in engaging and aligning stakeholders to achieving a common goal
  • Takes a keen interest in reward practices within and outside of the company to determine opportunities to improving how reward is delivered
  • Builds strong relationships with the Glanbia HR community in Ireland, Reward colleagues and other stakeholders across the Group
  • Is a strong team player, flexible to address differing and changing business needs
  • Is thorough and detail oriented. Applies logic and rationale to decision making
  • Has good systems, process and technical acumen including strong word and PowerPoint skills
  • Has strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to work well under pressure and with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Has strong communication skills demonstrating the ability of translating complex scenarios into meaningful information for stakeholders to understand and relate to.
