Job Purpose:   To assist the Financial Control team in their responsibilities while gaining valued experience working in a busy Finance Department.

 

Principal Accountabilities (not definitive)

  • Production Data Analysis tracking and reporting on Production activity actual versus planned
  • Updating of key business & Finance KPIs
  • Weekly Labour analysis
  • Reporting on inventory and stock write offs
  • Assisting requisitioners in clearing invoice queries.
  • Product Costing preparation and analysis
  • Participation in specific job and system improvement projects
  • Maintain effective partnerships with the internal team, leading to continuous improvement in internal customer satisfaction
  • Actively seek ownership of results and drive improvements wherever possible
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills
  • To undertake other work that is assigned to you

Skills, Know How and experience

  • Currently working towards Professional Qualifications
  • Seeking CIMA qualification is a distinct advantage
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, ability to analyse and consolidate large amounts of data
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills, ability to deliver financial data in a user friendly and relevant manner
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and a fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Finance Principles

 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the Sports Nutrition industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP essential
  • 2-3 Industry experience is desirable but not essential
