PacMoore Processing Technologies located in Mooresville, IN is a contract food manufacturing company specializing in dry blending extrusion, spray-drying, liquid blending and repackaging.

The Opportunity 

This role is responsible for managing and owning the capital strategy for the PacMoore site in Mooresville, Indiana. The role will execute business sustaining and strategic capital projects throughout the entire project cycle, from initial concept through successful completion; leveraging key stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are successful. This permanent position will report to the Engineering Manager - Specialities and essential functions include but are not limited to the following; 

• Develop and implement projects to improve operational costs, efficiency, yields, quality, and safety.
• Develop project packages for capex approval (scopes, budget, tendering etc.), ensure projects meet Glanbia procurement and contract requirements, ensure all work meets Glanbia Quality or EHS requirements (permits, contracts etc.)
• Apply general engineering and technical principles to troubleshoot and implement improvements in various plant or project areas including civil, mechanical, electrical, process, utility, packaging etc.
• Interfaces with all levels of management and employees to gather information and provide guidance for implementation.
• Manage and control capital budget planning for a particular area – help plant prioritizing key projects that will lead to business growth and reduce cost of manufacturing.
• Participate in or lead cross functional team projects.

   The Skills you will bring to the team

• BS in Engineering plus a minimum of 3-5 years of experience or equivalent years of experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in written form.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams of people through projects to successful completion.
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. as well as proficiency in project management software such as MSProject, Excel, AutoCAD.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Skilled at adapting to project restraints and resolving problems, able to work independently in a fast-pace environment and complete projects on time with minimal supervision.
