Optimum Nutrition is the world's leading supplement brand and has a broad product assortment, spanning Bars, Powders and Drinks.  Our business is seeking a National Account Executive to support rapid expansion into Key Grocery and Convenience Accounts in Australia and New Zealand. 


The National Account Executive will get direct exposure to all aspects of Key Account Management and will play a central role in the rapidly developing business unit.   


The Role:


  • Implement the commercial strategy with Key Grocery & Convenience Accounts to deliver against ambitious growth plans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of next-level category management strategies to propel category and brand leadership.
  • Develop robust business proposals and winning new line submissions with a view to developing leading customer partnerships.
  • Assist with the development, implementation and compliance management of customer promotional plans and new line support initiatives.
  • Coordinate Key Account promotional initiatives with major consumer launch activities to create one seamless consumer communication campaign.
  • Work closely with Marketing and R&D teams to ensure a solid pipeline of category leading NPD.
  • Assist with customer forecasting and work closely with the internal Supply Chain team to ensure all products are delivered as required by the customer.
  • Regular internal and customer business analysis and reporting.


The Candidate:


  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Food Business/Science.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Account Executive/Management role within a FMCG or related environment with a proven track record of sales performance.
  • Understanding of the Independent grocery and convenience channels.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skill, including advanced user of PowerPoint, Spread sheet and Scan Data analysis
  • Passion for entrepreneurial business building.
  • Strong involvement and/or interest in sports
