Analyst, Customer Planning & Strategy, GPN Americas

To support the organization’s sales activities, we are hiring an Analyst, Customer Planning & Strategy due to an internal promotion. This position will be responsible for the execution of our Americas Business Unit Customer Planning & Strategy strategies across a set of key brands and into the joint business plans of all customers.




Primary Responsibilities in Customer Planning & Strategy

  • Assists the Customer Planning & Strategy Senior Manager on a specific brand organization and the customer organization across the entire customer team for all sales strategy issues
  • Executes the commercialization of specific category/brand plans for specific channels
  • Key teammate in the delivery of the brand’s product, placement, pricing and promotion , and business planning process
  • Drive understanding of our assortment, display, price/promotion and shelving principles by category/customer
  • Provide active support to the customer sales teams to enable the achievement of sales and profit plans for the customers on all products within the assigned group
  • Subject matter expert on customer resets, and customer calendars of retail events
  • Analysis for key customer presentations. Develop a host of sales tools for sales to self-serve ad-hoc for other customer presentations
  • Build and leverage relationships with cross functional counterparts including customer account teams, trade development, marketing and finance




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or similar
  • 1+ years of sales, trade, marketing or planning with a consumer product good company
  • Ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights and facts, to gain support for business strategies and/or initiatives internally and externally with customer partners
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications, Tableau, database information sources, and web applications
