Job Summary:

The Brand Manager – China Region will work closely with the Marketing Manager – Greater China Region to develop key initiatives and formulate brand management, public relations (PR), advertising, events, New Product Development (NPD) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), athlete management. This position will be also responsible for the coordination of marketing programs planned for brands under the Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) portfolios such as Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, and Amazing Grass in the Greater China region ensuring smooth and successful execution. 

 

Job Summary:

 

The Brand Manager – China Region will work closely with the Marketing Manager – Greater China Region to develop key initiatives and formulate brand management, public relations (PR), advertising, events, New Product Development (NPD) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), athlete management. This position will be also responsible for the coordination of marketing programs planned for brands under the Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) portfolios such as Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, and Amazing Grass in the Greater China region ensuring smooth and successful execution. 

 

 

The Role:

  • Managing projects and campaigns to ensure timelines and critical paths are being met.
  • Collaborate with Digital Coordinators to incorporate Digital calendars into the Marketing calendar to ensure alignment and organization of campaigns and projects.
  • Day to day management of the approved marketing budget, ensuring campaigns and projects have sufficient resources to be executed and do not exceed set budget.
  • Research and analyses competitor tactics in the market to identify the most suitable strategies for the company's product and branding.
  • Partner with regional sales, route to market and e commerce team to devise key customer activations. 
  • Support the development of advertising material across multiple platforms in line with brand objectives and HQ guidelines.
  • Work with sales and key customers to develop POS solutions, online web banners etc and all sampling material requirements.
  • Assistance in planning, execution and tracking of new product launches.
  • Collaboratively support the sales and marketing teams to align and execute brand strategies.
  • Manage and grow network of influencers (athletes & KOL’s – Key Opinion Leaders) for the purposes of inspiring and supporting consumers in achieving their goals and understanding the products within the portfolio.
  • Management of the distribution of athlete monthly product allocations, athlete gears, coordination of athlete duties in events, sampling & demonstrations in line with budget and objective guidelines.
  • Ensure that all product education delivered via athletes is aligned within the guidelines of GPN’s SNS and communication protocols.

 

 

The Preferred Candidate:

  • Possess more than 8 years of brand management, trade or customer marketing experience in FMCG ideally consumer focused categories/industries.
  • Good working knowledge in Brand Positioning, Segmentation, Retail and Trade Negotiations.
  • Good working knowledge & experience in Product Nutrition.
  • Experience in Trade Marketing & Merchandising.
  • Currently or previously managing external agencies, gathering customer/consumers insights through formulation of digital strategies and planning.
  • Able to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin, strategic and analytical mindset approach and able to develop a strong working relationships with partners & vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
  • Candidates who are results oriented with a high level of initiative, innovative mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit is highly preferred.
  • Able to work towards ensuring project delivery, priority setting and able to systematically coordinate projects with internal stakeholders.
  • Analysis of latest market trends, internal sales data and work within marketing budget guidelines.
