Reporting to the Finance Director (“FD”). The primary focus of the role is to assist FD in providing monthly sales and P&L reporting, budget/forecast preparation, customers’ claims verification as well as supporting ad-hoc projects required to drive growth in Southeast Asia countries.


The opportunity where you will make an impact:

  1. Actuals Reporting
    • Monitor daily sales orders, tracking against Budget/Forecast/ Latest Estimate
    • Prepare sales reports: by customers, by Region, and by products on a monthly basis or as required.
    • Prepare Trade Spend, rebates and marketing expenses accruals on monthly basis.
    • Prepare and/or review Balance Sheets schedules/reconciliations to ensure transactions are captured completely and accurately.
    • Tracking sell-out and customers’ inventory to ensure proper inventory level maintained with the customers.
  2. Budget/Forecast
    • Responsible for Budget/Forecast preparation and submission for South East Asia customers
    • Work with the commercial and marketing team in the Region to obtain Sales and Marketing inputs.
  3. Customers’ Claim Review and Processing
    • Review/Track all claims received from distributors/customers, before providing the claim docs   to FD for approval
    • Keeping track of all customers’ claims and ensure claims are properly accounted for and match against accruals set-up for that purpose.
  1. Commercial Support
    • Ensure Promo Template is updated on timely basis and distributed to all stakeholders along with preparing ROI calculation of marketing spend
    • Ensure customer’s prices are properly maintained in SAP and match back to the promo template file.
    • Prepare customers/distributors’ monthly sell-out and inventory reports
    • Maintain and track customers/distributors’ KPI.
  2. Ad-Hoc Projects
    • Assist in any ad-hoc projects required to support business growth in the Region as well as for process improvements.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong PC skills including MS Office; particularly Excel and SAP.
  • Hands on operator who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done working independently with little supervision.
  • Strong problem solving skills with high attention to details and final outcomes.
  • Sound accounting, reporting and analytical skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a strong team player and demonstrate dedication to group and company goals
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet varying deadlines and work volumes
  • Self-motivated with initiative and performance driven
  • Excellent analytical skills; able to identify and solve complex analytical problems and draw conclusions through analysis of data in real time and on demand


What you will bring to GPN:

  • Degree Qualified Accountant with 2-5yrs post degree experience in FMCG or similar within a global MNC working towards CA/CPA qualifications and with a strong financial discipline
  • Experience in commercial financial and accounting practice preferably international
  • Experience in managing complex models across currencies, countries and regulations
  • Well-developed English language skills (reading/writing and oral) with effective communication skills
  • Experience working with SAP financial planning, analysis & reporting tools
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholders and has a passion to drive for process improvements
