The Opportunity 

We’re thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Warehouse Production Manager to join our team. In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This permanent position will report to the Warehouse Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following; 

• Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a diverse team of warehouse employees while fostering a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and growth.
• Expert Guidance: Advise employees on proper care, preservation, and handling of items, and ensure adherence to equipment usage and safety guidelines.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze records to recommend remedial actions for non-usable, slow-moving, and excess stock. Review accuracy and compliance of inventory records.
• Strategic Layout Management: Optimize stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and other relevant factors. Implement efficient layouts to enhance productivity and accessibility.
• Product Classification and Shipping: Finalize shipping schedules to meet customer demands.
• Inventory Management: Schedule special and periodic inventories and investigate discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold occupational safety and health standards. Comply with regulations and orders related to workplace safety.

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Proven experience in warehouse management.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar system(s)
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to or willingness to learn how to drive powered equipment like forklifts.

Where and how you will work  

The opportunity will be based in St. Johns, MI. and is fully onsite. Our flexible shift times allow you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Whether it’s 2PM to midnight or 5PM to 3AM our dynamic shift bridge both day and night, ensuring a smooth shift to shift transition. This 4-day work week will be Sunday through Wednesday with Thursday through Saturdays off to recharge and enjoy life outside of work!
