The Opportunity 

This pivotal role starts by cultivating relationships with and collaborating alongside the site leadership and operations teams, all while overseeing site health and safety, environmental sustainability, and security policies, programs, and procedures. This permanent position will report to the Sr. EHS Manager and the duties and skills include but are not limited to the following; 

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure overall compliance with environmental laws, standards, and regulations.
• Stay informed about upcoming regulations and assess their impact on our operations.
• Manage coordination and inspections with Federal, State, and Local agencies.
• Work closely with plant leaders and the land application team to maintain wastewater quality and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to Glanbia Group’s sustainability goals, including True Zero Waste certification, carbon emissions reduction, and water intensity reduction.
• Develop and revise operational practices to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain routine and non-routine correspondence with Federal, State, and Local Environmental Agencies.
• Exceed Federal, State, and Local regulations in waste management practices.

   The Skills you will bring to the team

• General manufacturing, with a preference for food and beverage manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in written form.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and the ability to influence.
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with “INTELEX” preferred but not required.
